The location
The medieval House of Feet takes its name from the characteristic arched arcade. In the Middle Ages it was the site of a butcher's shop. Built in the 16th century, the ground floor was occupied by butcher's shops for centuries, while the upper floor served various municipal purposes until the second half of the 18th century, including the town's Catholic school. Nowadays, temporary exhibitions on various themes are held in the Sopron Museum.
