Birthday party at the Sopron Museum for all ages: kids, teens, young and old, have your birthday party with us!

The birthday party
Meet in the community space of the Cobbles Children's Museum, play and create games here and in the museum's exhibition spaces. All the while, we learn not only about history and art, but also about the joy of creating. Of course, there will also be a fitting toast to the celebrant.

- TOURS IN THE MUSEUM: visitors play games with a headlamp to explore the mysterious underground stone vault of the Fabricius House (approx. 40 min)
- GAMES TOUR: children compete with each other to reminisce about bygone eras and discover the tactile and olfactory treasures of history (about 40 minutes).
- WELCOME THE BIRTHDAY: at the end of the birthday party, there is time to eat cake and welcome the birthday boy or girl (about 30 minutes).

Cost of the event
Tuesday to Friday 35.000 Ft /group, Weekends, Saturday-Sunday 43.000 Ft/group. The cost of the event must be paid at the cash desk during the event.

Birthday cake and delicacies
The birthday boy and his family will provide the birthday cake, refreshments and other goodies for the children to enjoy in the Cat's Stone community room after the scavenger hunt and guided tour. Don't forget plastic or paper plates, cups, cutlery and napkins.

Equipment in the museum playhouse
A table covered with waxed canvas in the Cats' Stone community room seats 10 to 12 children comfortably. Coats and gifts can be left here during your time in the exhibition space. Birthday parties arrive early and can decorate the room and set the table for the welcome party. Due to the short time available, we suggest cake, simple savoury snacks and soft drinks.

Dates and registration
The birthday party can be held on weekday afternoons and weekends - from 10am to 6pm - with advance booking. Please contact us at least two weeks before the planned date. Sessions are led by museum staff and can be accompanied by a parent if required. The maximum duration of the session, including gift giving and greeting, is 2.5 hours.

- ACTIVITY GUIDANCE: children compete with each other to recall bygone eras and encounter tactile and auditory reminders of the Baroque era (about 30 minutes).
- ROYAL COURT: a tour of the royal court, dressing up in period costumes (about 20 minutes)
- COURT GAMES: a game popular in Baroque aristocratic circles and a demonstration of courtier skills (approx. 40 min)
- WELCOME TO THE BIRTHDAY IN THE ROYAL LAKE: at the end of the birthday party, there is time to eat cake and welcome the birthday boy (approx. 30 min).

We also organise birthday parties for preschoolers at the Sopron Museum. Our event is a joint programme for families and friends, which will be a memorable experience for children, parents and grandparents alike.

- ANIMAL HUNTING IN THE MUSEUM: children can search for the small stone animals that live in the mysterious underground stone vault of the Fabricius House, in the dark or with a headlamp and lights (approx. 30 min)
- TOUR OF THE DWELLING TOWER: a playful guided tour of the tower and the story of the Brainy Girl (approx. 30 min.)
- Playing in the Cobblestone Children's Museum: various games of skill (approx. 30 min)
- WELCOME THE BIRTHDAY: at the end of the birthday party, there is time to play games, eat cake and welcome the birthday boy (approx. 60 min).
